Real talk: is there any way to use this to turn my Logitech MX Master 4 into a wired mouse? I realized way too late that it (seems to be) wireless only and I hate that

Worked on a very basic level with my Logi webcam, but couldn't get it to detect my MX Master 4 despite a few attempts. A shame, I'd love to escape Logi+ for a feature-parity solution.

For pro gaming perhaps the difference would make the slightest difference. For casuals, let alone office workers, the difference is 0 (writing this with a mx master 4 next to me). Saying this as someone who has tried dozens of mice in my life. Last corded-one, bought for my son yesterday (razer cobra minecraft edition). I don't think I'd be able to tell the difference between wired and wireless in a blind test.

First laptop was a Powerbook 100. First computer was Atari 800. Currently use an MX Master 4 mouse. I totally get the irony.

And logiops too: https://github.com/PixlOne/logiops I recently purchased the MX Master 4, and it was easy to remap the gesture buttons and configure features like SmartShift and high-resolution scrolling.

I also use the magic trackpad. I even tried the renowned logitech mx master 4 but returned it the next day, heavy and straining for the wrist. And all of the extra buttons and actions on that mouse don't make much sense when the trackpad has gestures.

It's still disappointing that they botched the MX Master 4 with a slow polling rate and still stupid high cost. My V3 is getting long in the years but I wouldn't pay more than it originally cost for basically the same hardware nearly a decade later. Still, it's nice to have some alternative software
