I get your point. When I had RSI in my right elbow and tried to find a replacement for a traditional mouse there were soooo many attempts. And I had to use them for a while both to see if they helped, but also to see if I managed to use them properly. Like, a mouse where you rolled a ball with your thumb I never got friendly with even after a few weeks. In the end the problem was actually moving the hand away from the keyboard, so no tilted mouse, thumb mouse or track pad worked. A RollerMouse saved me. I even game with it now, heh. Just lucky my company paid for all of it (and the ones I didn't use they got back by me distributing to others within the company with issues)

Since I don't use a trackpoint-equipped laptop anymore (couldn't resist the M1 Macbook), I've since switched to a Contour Rollermouse Red (mouse) and Kinesis Freestyle 2 (ergonomic keyboard). The mouse basically fills the same role of allowing me to keep my hands at the keyboard while also being extremely comfortable to use long-term and as precise and easy to use as any mouse. The Shura looks really cool though, thanks. I might get one.

I'm rather fond of my RollerMouse. Not sure I can claim it is a game changer. But, the stable position of it relative to keyboard is quite comforting.

I like the Rollermouse, it's a mouse that sits below your keyboard, so you never need to move at your elbow to reach the mouse again. I use my thumbs on it.

If you have carpal tunnel issues, I can highly recommend the RollerMouse RED. It’s not a trackball, but a unique rolling bar controller that I’ve been using for several years now with none of the RSS issues I used to have. Not the cheapest option for sure, but the least physically stressful input device I’ve ever used.
