This is seriously the thing I like the most about my 2017 and 2023 macbooks. The trackpad feels so good. Every other manufacturer that I have tried, and no it is not all of them but a lot, they all make my fingers feel bad after using them. I don't know if they are rougher or textured somehow? The only one that does make my finger pads feel sore is the macbook.

Macbook Air M2, all over again. Best goddamn laptop I've ever owned. I had a MacBook Pro Retina from 2012, which was replaced by a 2017 model through a warranty hack (though it worked flawlessly). The 2017 started losing keys on its 3rd keyboard replacement, but was really speedy still. Then I got a 2017 Macbook 12" which was perfect for backpacking. I didn't like syncing two laptops so I gave the 15" MBP to a friend. Eventually it struggled with playing YouTube Music while working, so I gave it to another friend. ...so I got the M2. Holy smokes is that thing good. It fixed everything wrong with the 2017 model AND improved things I didn't ask for. I'm not a diehard Apple fan, but I'm a diehard MacBook convert.

It’s very hit and miss. I had a pair of AirPods Pro which developed, in both ears, a very strange hardware issue. Almost like random high pitch shrieking noises blended with the audio; like the noise cancellation would go berserk. Both failed Apple’s test in the store. There was a repair program for audio issues - but my pair was made supposedly 4 months after it was fixed, so I had to get a new set. I also had a MacBook 2017 which clearly, obviously, developed the stage light backlight issue. Only to find out the repair program only covered 2016 models. Thus, if I had a nickel for every time Apple had a repair program for the exact issue I was having, but only up to the model just before mine, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice, right?
